To My Heavenly Father

When ever I'm in deep despair

I call on one who's always there

He reaches out a helping hand

He's forever there to understand

He always forgives me

For what I've done wrong

And he makes me feel I completely belong

And when I wake crying

Late in the night

He's there to give me comfort

He lets me know all will be alright

He dries my tears

And chases away my fears

He teaches and guides me and helps me each day

And when I 'm discouraged it is to him I pray

I don't know what I 'd do

Without his loving care

For through him I can give

And I have so much to share.
