The Christmas Flower When I look at the poinsettia flower With its color such a bright shade of red I think of Jesus Christ, our savior And of his precious blood that was shed When you look at the poinsettias' petals Each one is shaped like a tear It helps us to understand that Jesus came here to teach us If we have faith in God, we have nothing to fear The stem of the flower looks strong But it is weak It reminds us of how Jesus taught love And that the earth will be inherited by the meek And then there are the green leaves So broad and so bold They help us to remember that Christs' story Is the greatest one ever told.
